Offshore EPCs and platform O&M teams buy corrosion-resistant machined parts in small batches against unforgiving schedules — and the welding-qualified fabricators who win the packages still need someone to machine the components inside them. We turn duplex, Super Duplex, Monel 400 and Inconel 625 parts from 50 pieces, quoted in 48 hours. Single-piece O&M spares run on the same certified process as package quantities.

Offshore packages are won by welding-qualified fabricators, but inside every package sits a set of turned and milled components — bushings, fittings, hub parts, instrument bosses — that the fabricator subcontracts. Alloy selection is driven by splash-zone and process corrosion, documents are audited by the end client, and the schedule is driven by weather windows rather than by anyone's workshop calendar. The machining layer inside these packages is judged on the same documents the welder is judged on: actual measured values, heat-number traceability and a report format the end client can file without translation. Suppliers who treat a 50-piece component order as beneath their process lose the package, and with it every future spares call-off.
We machine the corrosion-resistant component set in duplex, Super Duplex, Monel 400 and Inconel 625 with full heat-number traceability, so the fabricator's package arrives complete and documented for the end client's audit. Engineering changes mid-project are handled at the same speed as the first quote, and single-piece O&M spares run on the same certified process as package quantities. Samples ship in 7 to 15 days, DDP deliveries arrive in 5 to 8 days by air including customs clearance, and the same technical contact handles quoting, production and delivery questions so nothing is lost between departments.
| Component (IT / EN) | Typical material | Process | Typical batch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bushings & hub parts | Duplex / Super Duplex | Turning + grinding | 50–2,000 |
| Instrument bosses | 316L / Inconel 625 | Turning + milling | 50–1,000 |
| Fittings | 316L / Monel 400 | Sliding-head turning | 500–10,000 |
| O&M spares | Per sample or drawing | Turning + milling | 1–500 |
Pure machined-component scope only; welded assemblies and NDT inspection remain with the package holder by design.
The standard flow: drawing review and quotation within 48 hours, first samples in 7–15 days, first article inspection and approval, then series production against the approved reference. Tooling, program revisions and inspection records are kept on file so that call-offs remain consistent with the approved first article.
Engineering changes — material substitutions, tolerance updates, plating or packaging changes — are handled as controlled changes against the same records.
DIN ISO 2768-mK applies as the default tolerance scheme for unspecified dimensions. EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificates are standard for metallic parts, First Article Inspection supports the approval step, and RoHS/REACH declarations are available where required. Plating, cleanliness and packaging requirements are confirmed per drawing.
Can you work inside an EPC package as a subcontractor?
Yes. We supply the machined-component set to the welding-qualified package holder with full documentation — 3.1 certificates, dimensional reports and heat-number traceability — so the package arrives complete for the end client's audit. Component drawings, alloy grades and inspection points come from your engineering team; machining, treatment coordination and reports come from us.
What about NDT and welding requirements?
Welding and NDT remain with the package holder or its certified partners, which is exactly how the scope splits cleanly: we machine, they join and inspect the joints. Where a machined part needs a preparatory feature for welding, we machine to the weld-prep geometry on the drawing and report it dimensionally like any other feature. Machined features are reported to ±0.005 mm with actual measured values on the certificate.
How do weather-window schedules affect you?
They are the reason buyers keep us on file. When a weather window moves, the package schedule moves with it, and machined components are usually the last items that can still make the boat. Quote in 48 hours, first articles in 7 to 15 days, and air DDP in 5 to 8 days means a slipped window does not have to become a missed season.
What batch sizes do you accept?
From 50 pieces per item for package components, and from single pieces for O&M spares. Roughly 80 percent of our export work is below 5,000 pieces per year per item, so small, urgent and quality-critical orders are the core of our shop — not an exception we tolerate while waiting for a bigger program to arrive.
