Product Overview

Oil and gas precision components are critical manufactured parts designed for extreme environments in upstream, midstream, and downstream applications. These components include downhole tools, valve bodies, subsea connectors, and drilling equipment that must withstand high pressure, corrosive environments, and extreme temperatures while maintaining dimensional accuracy and mechanical integrity.

Our manufacturing capabilities center on premium materials selected for the demanding conditions of oilfield service. The primary material is 17-4 PH precipitation-hardening stainless steel (UNS S17400), which delivers tensile strength above 1,310 MPa in the H900 condition along with excellent corrosion resistance — making it the preferred choice for downhole tools and sour-service valve bodies. For extreme environments, we also machine components from Inconel 718 and 2205 duplex stainless steel. Advanced CNC machining centers produce components with tolerances as tight as ±0.005mm, ensuring perfect fit and reliable performance in critical oilfield operations. Each part undergoes rigorous quality inspection including NDT testing (UT, MT, PT) for surface and subsurface defects.

Surface finishing options include passivation for enhanced corrosion resistance, HVOF tungsten carbide coating for wear protection, and PTFE coating for friction reduction. We support both rapid prototyping for custom tool development and volume production for OEM requirements. With comprehensive material traceability (mill certificates, heat treatment records per AMS 2750) and NACE MR0175 compliance for sour service applications, our components meet the stringent quality standards of the oil and gas industry. All API threads are verified with GO/NO-GO gauges per API Spec 5B.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you comply with NACE MR0175 for sour service?

Yes, we manufacture components compliant with NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 for hydrogen sulfide (H2S) containing environments. All materials are certified and traceable with proper heat treatment documentation.

What materials do you use for oil and gas components?

Our primary material is 17-4 PH precipitation-hardening stainless steel, which offers the best balance of high strength (≥1,310 MPa in H900) and corrosion resistance for downhole and sour-service applications. We also use 316/316L stainless for general corrosion-resistant applications, Inconel 718 for extreme high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, and 2205 duplex stainless steel for larger bodies where wall thickness can compensate for lower strength.

Can you provide material traceability?

Absolutely. All components come with full material traceability including mill certificates, heat treatment records, and NDT test reports. Each part is marked for traceability throughout its service life.

What testing do you perform?

We perform dimensional inspection, pressure testing, NDT (UT, MT, PT), hardness testing, and chemical analysis. Third-party inspection and DNV/GL certification are available upon request.

What is your lead time for oil field components?

Prototype lead time is 3-5 days. Production orders typically take 2-4 weeks depending on quantity and complexity. Expedited service is available for urgent field requirements.
